Our roundtable sessions offer a chance to dive into a topic with an expert presenter, or team of presenters. They provide an opportunity to dig deeply into a particular topic during a 90 to 120-minute presentation.

This webinar will focus on “The Influence Effect”. This book presents strategies for women in leadership. Learn how to gain influence, particularly as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The presenter will share her experiences as a leader in the counseling profession and higher education. She will offer insights and lessons learned regarding DEI in leadership and counseling.

Presenter Bio

Dr. Sejal Parikh Foxx, PhD

Dr. Foxx is a Professor and Department Chair at UNC Charlotte. She is also the Director of the Urban School Counseling Collaborative. She has experience as an elementary and high school counselor. Her areas of interest are school counseling, multicultural and social justice, urban education, and creating equity and access to college and career readiness. She has received over $2 million dollars in grant funding from the Department of Education and National Science Foundation.
